Why Join – Why WOM?

Word of Mouth has come of age. It’s almost certainly the most valuable and cost-effective communication discipline available today – it’s two way, dynamic, constantly evolving and measurable.

If you’re involved in WOM as a practitioner or customer – joining WOMUK puts you at the heart of this industry and connects you with the professionals and practitioners that are driving development of WOM in the UK and across the globe. WOMUK is the forum for engagement and development of this, the most rapidly growing cross-discipline marketing phenomenon.

WOMUK is independent; it is owned by the Members and is for the Members. In WOMUK, you can genuinely have your say. In addition, WOMUK is working with other groups, including WOMMA – the equivalent US Association – to establish partnerships that will deliver additional Membership benefits.

Governance & Ethics

WOMUK’s Governance will be in accordance with its constitution which will be mapped out and developed by the Steering Group prior to election of the Council and further refinement by a Working Group.

Management Team. WOMUK will be managed by paid officers comprising the CEO, Operations Director and Membership Secretary who will run WOMUK’s affairs on a day to day basis reporting to the Council.

The Management Team’s appointment and duties will be contained in the Constitution.
